Love is the “means” and the “end”

Love is the “means” and the “end”

“It is easier to love humanity as a whole than to love one’s neighbor.” ~Eric Hoffer.

We so frequently speak of love – Love is love…Love drives out hate…Love your neighbor. Believing our own intentions are rooted in love, why do we so frequently act outside of love? There are scores of daily examples in social media and, to a lesser degree, in our interpersonal experiences.

Remember this…
Love is not only an “end” – justifying whatever “means” necessary to bring about its arrival. Love is the “means” AND the “end.”

“For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” ~1 John 4:20.
