Extreme views are always found along the outer edges of the truth. That’s why they’re known as extreme.
Words like “all,” “never,” “completely,” “unequivocally,” “the worst,” “the greatest,” and their companions are signals that what you’re hearing lies some distance from the truth.
They’re often coupled with broad generalizations, of the population or of certain beliefs.
Politics are full of these words. Social media is full of these words. You shouldn’t be.
